When living in an apartment a responsive maintenance department is key to a positive living experience. Jonathan is part of the maintenance team here and honestly he is the reason I give 5 stars. Jonathan always responds immediately to my concerns, he is very professional and always sets an appointment time for repairs to be done. He shows up on time, listens to the concern and gets the job done right. If additional follow up Is needed I can always count on him to get it done. Jonathon understands customer service, the importance of communication how to do the job well and follows the issue through until completion. As a former Director of Facilities, I know how lucky Avalon Willow Glen is to have him on staff. His communication and attention to detail should be the standard for the entire department. .

The past couple of years i've been living here have been great! The best part of this place is the maintenance crew, especially an employee by the name of Jonathan V.! He always does an amazing job and not to mention very friendly and polite! He is very fast at answering requests and sometimes even calls to ask for checkup on the appliances that were fix to ensure quality on his service. The staff here is amazing overall!

We have lived in the Avalon Willow Glen Community for almost a year and it has been a wonderful place to live. The front desk staff is helpful and responds quickly to any concerns. A special thanks to Yza who helped us move into the community and has always been available to questions since then! The maintenance staff is also stellar! Almost immediately after submitting a request, Jonathan will set up a time to come fix the issue. We have had a few minor issues over the year and Jonathan is quick to fix and always friendly.

Avalon Willow Glen is a nice place. The staff in the office and on the maintenance teams have been helpful and friendly. I would like to especially call out Jonathan. I had a couple of minor maintenance items that I had opened a ticket for. He called and was available right away to fix the items. Very courteous and made sure everything was clean after he worked. Id recommend the place.

Lived there for a year. The community is nice and the maintenance service is fine. The pool and spa are great, always open and clean, the gym is well equipped and it feels very safe to be in the gated community. On the negative side, the apartment could be improved as the appliances are dated, the hard surface flooring wasn't installed properly and is leaking goo (which was never repaired), and there is not enough free parking available, which means you're pretty much required to pay additional for a reserved spot. Finally, when moving out we were offered to be rent responsible until someone else leased instead of paying a lease break penalty, we accepted as our apartment was great value, but then they raised the rent beyond $500 dollars, so obviously no one rented it at the new price and we kept paying for months on end.

This community has been wonderful to live in! We have been here for just over a year and the staff is amazing to work with. They always strike up a conversation and ask to see how you are doing. Robert is who we have personally dealt with the most and goes above and beyond to make sure everything is taken care of promptly and explained thoroughly when we have questions. The community is well taken care of and very pet friendly, which we love. Overall, this is one of the BEST places we have lived!!

The Avalon Willow Glen has been an EXCELLENT place to live after how bad our last complex was. Since day one, Robert our leasing agent has gone above and beyond to make sure everything was done quickly efficiently and while still making us feel comfortable through the whole process. Anytime I need a new battery for my gate clicker or I'm picking up a package I actually look forward coming into the office because everyone is always in a good mood. Rob is always cheerful and friendly and having conversations with you while he is helping you rather than having any awkward silences! This complex has different events that range from safety meetings to pizza parties which I think is pretty cool. Robert has made our stay so easy here that we renewed our lease without much thought. He even helped us to see how we could get the best price or if maybe we were interested in another unit. I would definitely recommend someone to live here who was looking for a 1-2 bedroom.

After my first month of staying at Avalon Willow Glen, I am very satisfied with the complex. It is very clean, quiet, and the leasing staff was very friendly and welcoming during my move. I appreciate the fact that the leasing staff is able to remember my first name and strike up relevant conversations when I stop by the front office.
The one bedroom is very spacious with tons of storage space. If you like to cook, this place has GAS STOVES! The only problem is an assigned parking space costs extra. This has rarely been an issue for me, but if you arrive to the complex late in the evening you will likely have to park on the street a ways away from your apartment.
Location wise, this apartment is in a great area. Close to San Jose, Campbell, Willow Glen, Santana Row, etc... I work in Sunnyvale and the commute can get rather bad in the evening.
I would recommend living here.
Edit (6/6/18): The parking arrangement at this apartment is terrible. You are expected to pay extra for an assigned parking space and there isnt enough first come first serve spots available. If you arrive after 9 PM on a weekday, expect to park outside of the gate a long ways away from your apartment. My car was broken into while INSIDE the gate, so walking alone in the dark across the entire complex isnt exactly safe. Ive seen over three car break-ins occur during my stay here. Guaranteed parking shouldnt be treated as a luxury, especially when most of the paid parking spots go unused.

Jorge (George) has been especially good. He is very professional, very efficient and always comes with a big smile. He has fixed any and every issue we have needed and done so with speed and precision. We are very happy with the team here and glad we chose this community to live in.
