Living here was okay - everyone at the office is nice and helpful so not sure what the other reviews are about. Giving three stars because the location is amazing and the maintenance is awesome. Took off stars because the walls are SUPER thin, after they took away my upstairs neighbors carpet there were points when it sounded like they were bodyslamming each other. It was so loud it made my walls shake. But what can I do? I didnt renew my lease even though I really wanted to before my renewal offer because they raised my rent by over $400. No upgrades to justify why my rent was raisedplus someone stole packages from my doorstep (no gate). That coupled with my neighbors waking me up with their noises just brought this place down for me. It felt like I had no privacy at all.
They are now trying to charge me $195 for a cleaning when I specifically told the office that I did not need the cleaning and I made sure the place was spotless before I returned the keys. I took a video for confirmation of this and sent it back to Avalon but have yet to hear back and that was nearly two weeks ago. So who knows what other fees Im accruing since I havent paid that yet.
Coming here from Chicago I have already found the comfort and peaceful atmosphere I was hoping for. Love being so close to the lake....

Had a very pleasant stay here. The team is super friendly and the gorgeous lake access provides a lot of summer activity options.

I've been here for about 3 months now and have been having a great experience. Love how there is plenty of free parking around and how professional/friendly the staff is. The place is a bit older than other places and is also right by the lake, so there's quite a bit of bugs, but nothing too out of the ordinary. I've been having some issues with some cabinet doors coming loose and the kitchen sink dripping, but I requested a service on the Avalon website & Travis came to fix everything up the next day.

I lived here for over two years and had a wonderful experience. The apartment I had was the perfect size, very comfortable, and the rent was affordable. The entire area is green, full of trees, and of course there is the lake... nothing better than just strolling the dock and watching the water. And even better if you like to paddleboard or kayak.
I found the staff to be friendly and helpful. Marissa in particular was truly wonderful to work with, but I've had a good experience with everyone including their maintenance and security folks.
I'd highly recommend to anyone looking for an apartment in Redmond.
