I moved here about 15 days ago, Im from downtown Chicago zip code 60605, and it Is a huge difference but that what I expected. It is scary at night when walking around outside by yourself as a woman. In this building, you can hear every bit of moving from your upstairs neighbors and it sucks hearing them almost everyday at 6am.. Ive put in a work order 2 times about a week ago, and I have had no response. The looks of the apartment is okay. If you dobnt mind loud creaking from what it sounds to be a ton man, when I bet he's like 160lbs, then this is your place, I think the building is just poorly built. There are no shopping malls around here, just a family dollar and a super expensive dirty grocery store. You will have to catch a train or bus to where you want to go unless you have a car or want to walk very far. Im use to living in a high rise building so this low rise is bit of an adjustment, but its fine because I knew what I was Getting myself into with the low rise, looking out of your window and feeling like a weirdo because people were starring back at you from the train station LOL. But it's livable, its not dirty, and the train is so close which is awesome. I would recommend if it wasn't for the loud noise, horrible maintenance, oh yea, the doors are very low, which is weird. Cant wait to go back downtown :-) oh yea!! AND THE WIFI SUCKS SOOOOO BAD OMG!! Go to 2 East 8th downtown Chicago!! Best wifi ever!! Pool, work out room, 28 floors, they all come with 32" flat screen TV's cable included and wifi, oh and ALL utilities included, no tricks and fees like this place,I paid 760 there, it may have went up, but atleast everything was included. I think reside said gas is included, then why do I have to pay $35 a month if it's included..
